Beta terms
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This is a translation for your convenience. Only the German version is legally binding.
1. Provider
CertWalk is provided by Lawrence Tjia, Dohmengasse 11, 50829 Köln (Cologne), Germany (see legal notice).
2. What the beta is
CertWalk is a study aid for the Google Cloud Generative AI Leader exam. The beta is a test phase. It is free of charge; there are no payment obligations and nothing turns into a paid plan automatically.
3. Access and invitation code
- Taking part requires an invitation code and a confirmed email address. One account per person.
- The invitation code is meant for you and for people you invite personally. Do not share it publicly, for example on social networks or websites.
- Keep access to your email inbox secure, because that is how you sign in.
4. No warranty
The beta is provided as is. Features may be missing, faulty, change or be temporarily unavailable. We aim for accurate and up-to-date content but give no warranty for it. Only the official exam guide and Google Cloud's terms are authoritative for the exam.
5. No pass guarantee, no connection to Google
We do not promise that you will pass the exam. CertWalk is an independent learning service and is not affiliated with Google LLC. Google, Google Cloud and Gemini are trademarks of Google LLC. The practice questions are our own content and are not exam questions.
6. Your obligations
- Do not share exam content: do not pass on questions or content from the real exam, whether in feedback, in the AI tutor or anywhere else. This violates the exam terms and can cost you your certification.
- Use CertWalk only for your own learning. Do not copy or publish app content and do not extract it automatically.
- Do not enter confidential information or other people's personal data into the AI tutor.
- Do not circumvent usage limits or security measures.
7. AI notice (Art. 50 EU AI Act)
The AI tutor is an AI system. Its answers are generated automatically by a language model and may be wrong or incomplete. The voices in the audio episodes are AI-generated (text-to-speech); the spoken texts are based on editorially written scripts. If in doubt, check important statements against the official exam guide.
8. Termination
You can stop taking part at any time by deleting your account in the app. We may end the beta in whole or in part at any time or block individual accounts, in particular if these terms are breached. Where possible, we will announce the end of the beta by email in advance.
9. Liability
As the beta is free of charge, we are only liable for intent and gross negligence. This does not affect liability for injury to life, body or health or under the German Product Liability Act.
10. Feedback
Your feedback helps us. We may use suggestions from your feedback to improve CertWalk. We only publish quotes with your explicit consent.
11. Privacy
How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy.
12. Changes and governing law
We may change these terms for the future and will inform you of material changes by email. German law applies; mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
